Kristen graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB) with a Master of Physical Therapy in 1995. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Texas Christian University in 1988.After working as a clinical dietician in a hospital setting, she became interested in Physical Therapy. She has worked as an outpatient physical therapist since graduating in 1995 with the exception of a few years off to raiser her daughters. She uses a combination of approach of hands-on manual Therapy techniques with targeted exercises to correct movement dysfunctions. Kristen appreciates the diversity of clients and conditions that outpatient physical therapy provides. She has received advanced education in McKenzie Institute methods, manual therapy, orthopedic and sports rehabilitation including kinesiotaping and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and treatment of lower extremity amputees. Kristen is passionate about working with patients to help them get back to doing what they love. She and her 3 daughters have lived in Texas, New Mexico, Washington and now Oregon. Outside of the clinic she enjoys running, hiking, paddle boarding, reading and spending time with family and friends.
