Adam joined the team at Advance Sports and Spine Therapy in August of 2021. He graduated from Pacific University in 2008 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Prior to graduate school he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education (BSPE) and Exercise Science degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 2002.
Adam feels that his number one priority in physical therapy is helping patients reach their maximum potential. He enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, ACL reconstruction and rotator cuff repair.
He completed certification in the McKenzie Method (Cert. MDT) in 2011. He earned his board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2018. He also holds certification in ASTYM treatment and is a certified clinical instructor.
As a certified clinical instructor, Adam enjoys mentoring Physical Therapy students and teaching them the fundamentals of the practice. He has also worked as adjunct faculty at Pacific University in the Physical Therapy program.
Adam is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and McKenzie Institute International. He is also a member of the Clinical Education committee for the Oregon Physical Therapy Association and helps organize clinical education programs for Physical Therapists throughout the state of Oregon.
Adam has enjoyed an active lifestyle his entire life. Growing up in Oregon he has spent many years on Mt. Hood skiing, hiking and camping. He grew up playing a variety of sports such as soccer, baseball and ski racing, which he feels contributed to his passion for maintaining an active lifestyle. In his free time he enjoys weight training, cycling and running. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children
